Carlotta completed her Bachelor's degree in Mathematics at the University of Bonn. To explore more applied areas, she continued with a Master's in Mathematics at the University of Cologne, where she focused on High Performance Computing. During her studies, she worked as a student assistant at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in the Department of High-Performance Computing, where she focused on agent-based and metapopulation models to simulate the spatial spread of infectious diseases. In April 2025, she joined the research group of Prof. Jan Hasenauer as a PhD student.
