Jan studied mathematics at the University of Bonn, with a focus on stochastics and analysis. He wrote his master thesis about computation methods for Markov chains, particularly in biological and chemical applications. Since April 2022 he is working on his PhD about Image Registration in Neurology in the group of Prof. Effland.
