Conference Venue - Directions

The venues of the 2024 DataSHIELD conference and associated activities are located centrally in Bonn and can be reached conveniently by public transport or by foot from Bonn Central Station.

The 2024 DataSHIELD Conference and Workshop take place at the Center for Mathematics of the University of Bonn.

From Bonn Central Train Station

By public transport:
  • In Bonn Central Train Station, follow the signs for the Bus Station ("Busbahnhof").
  • From bus station platform E: take a number 604, 605, 606 or 607 bus bound for "Ückesdorf", "Duisdorf Bahnhof" or "Malteser-Krankenhaus".
  • Alight at "Kaufmannstraße" - the bus stop is in front of the Center for Mathematics.
By foot:
  • In Bonn Central Train Station, follow the signs for the exit "Quantiusstraße".
  • Turn right, cross the intersection and follow "Colmantstraße". 
  • After crossing the next intersection and "Beethovenplatz", you have already reached "Endenicher Allee".
  • Follow it for ca. 500 m - the Center for Mathematics is on your right.

From Cologne/Bonn Airport

From the airport, there is a bus connection to Bonn Central Train Station (bus number SB60 - timetable and minimap).

For the social event, we visit the Arithmeum.
