Gemma has a BSc in Life Science and Technology from Delft University of Technology and Leiden University in the Netherlands. Switching fields and countries, she followed up with a MSc in Life Science Informatics at the University of Bonn. She is currently a PhD student in both the Hölzel lab at the Institute of Experimental Biology and the Hasenauer lab at the University of Bonn. She studies cancer-immune dynamics in murine melanoma with a focus on their spatial context.
